RNG Facility at Large Dairy Farm #1
In 2021 UCI began construction on what would become the largest Dairy Manure fed RNG facility in the world. Starting the project with only a partial structural design, our team embraced the challenge of a progressive design build by navigating changes with efficiency and offering real time solutions to project challenges. Mixing our self-perform capabilities with our planning and management prowess provided a turnkey solution that proved undeniably valuable to our industry leading client. This groundbreaking project included the following:
- 2 300’ X150’ radius end digestors
- Manure preheating
- Manure heating building
- Full Gas upgrading process
- H2S removal system
- Solids handing building with centrifuge and screw press
- Facility power generators
- PDC building
- Complete operations and warehouse building
- Scope included all Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation
- Start-up and commissioning support
